One of the problems in the colonies would be lack of space. With so many people now settling so close to each other problems like disease spreading, fighting over land and lack of space for crops might occur. Another problem would be the French and Spanish, who were surrounding the colonies. Since they were so close, there might be more fighting and attempted concurring. – Victoria Y, Period 3.

I think one problem that may have risen in and around the colonies were that the other part of the land was claimed by the Spanish and the French. Eventually the three countries would probably want to expand their territory in the New World. This probably led to many battles over the land and many other disagreements.

I think that as more colonist start to settle in the 13 colonies that more wars will start to happen.I think this because as more people come they will try to take over each others land. Also I think that the 13 colonies will start to expand into the French and Spanish territories.I think this because as more people come there won't be enough room for the people to settle over so they will have to expand their territory.

Some problems that might arise in and around the 13 Colonies as more English colonists start to come and settle at the Atlantic coastline are that there could be many floods that would be able to wipe out settlements if it was a bad enough flood. There were also Powhatans there as well that could harm them if they were rude or violent to their tribes or villages. If English colonists settled more on the Atlantic coastline. Another problem that could occur would be that if they planned to grow lots of crops they wouldn't be able to because like Plymouth the soil would be sandy or just full of rocks and the soil would not be able to grow the plants they they wanted to grow along the Atlantic coastline. There were very many problems that could have happened if more colonists were to settle on the Atlantic coastline but, those are just a few.

With more people settling on the atlantic coastline there are some issues that may be revealed. There may be some issues with the settlers getting along because of there religion. If more people come they may bring there religion and in the places where you can only have a certain religion it may cause issues.

Some problems that might arise in and around the 13 colonies when English colonists start to settle along the Atlantic Coastline is that there could be some conflicts with the Spanish or the French that border the 13 colonies or they might run out of food/crops if too many people come and some Indians might arouse certain complications.

As more English colonists arrive and settle in the Atlantic Coastline many problems could occur. One being bad Indian relations. There were currently Indians living on the Atlantic coastline and they got bad mad when new settlers arrived. Another problem could have also have been shortages of supplies when they first arrived.

There are many problems that occurred in this period of history. When the colonists started migrating to the Atlantic coastline the colonists fought over things such as land, raw materials and food. This was because all of the colonists were driven down the path of insanity when food was scarce, and with the increasing population these items were barely accessible. This, resulted in a intense battle for these crucial resources that they desperately needed. At this time no one could be trusted and the competitive mindset took over. Therefore making the areas in and near the Atlantic coastline very dangerous.

Some problems the English colonist might in counter are the problems of starvation, being killed by Indians, and other nations trying to settle down. The starvation was a problem because the people who migrated to the new world were the rich and privileged, not the farmers of the country; also in beachy areas there was not good soil for farming. Another problem of the English colonist is the fact that they were trying to settle on land inhabited by Indians. These Indians did not like the fact that the English were trying to steal their land, therefore the Indians fought back and tried to kill the English. Finally the third problem was other european countries such as France and Spain these other countries such as England wanted to take control over the new world causing trouble for the English over land boundaries.

Some problems that might arise in the 13 Colonoies when more English settelers come to them are lack of food because in the many pepole only a few will be farmers, less sanitaion because of the lack of space to dump waste, less land that would lead to wars with Natives and other European colonies over the ownership of land, over population in popular places along the Atlantic Coastline, and the spreading of new illnesses due to more dense population.

Something that might have happened is they might have ran into disease or illness. Also the lack of food may have been a problem for many of the settlers. Many settlers may have died by Indian tribes that were there or trades gone wrong. They might have also fought with different settlers such as The Spanish. A drought could have caused sickness or even death, while the soil and the land were very dry so they couldn't produce crops.

As the English colonists start coming into the 13 colonies I think that will start something with the French and Spanish territories. The French and Spanish colonies might not like how the English is coming over and settling there. They could also think that the English want to come and attack or take something from them.

Some problems will come when more English settlers come to settle along the Atlantic coast line. Like there is going to be less crops and food when more people come and join. The Spanish and the French won't like that mostly because they were here first. The British are going to start fights with the English because they want more land and want to take over.

The problems that may have occurred when more colonist settled in and around the Atlantic coast line was rescources. Resources may have been a problem b cause they may not have had enough rescources early on to supply the settlers with things such as food, water, and shelter. Another problem may have been the Indians. In other words this was a problem because the more settlers that come the more land they have to claim and that's less land for the Indians. Meaning, that loss of land makes them upset so they kill lots of settlers so they could try to take their land back.

I think that the some problems that might arise are being attacked by the Spanish or french. The french own the east and north to them ant the Spanish own south.I think this because they are surrounded by water or the french or Spanish. They are all trying to find gold and will kill to get it.

Some problems that might arise in the new colonies is fights with unfriendly Native American tribes, which may feel invaded by the colonies moving in. Another problem that might arise is diseases that the colonist's immune systems are not able to fight. One last problem the colonists might run into is fighting among themselves whether it's about religion or something else.

Some problems that might arise are that the English colonists would start to run out of land. When they ran out of land, they would have to fight the French to gain more land for the incoming settlers. Another problem is that the Appalachian Mountains were all across the western border of the 13 colonies which may make it tough for them to expand. They couldn't expand to the east because they were along the Atlantic Ocean. The French and the Spanish occupied all of the land past the Appalachian Mountains which could lead to lots of wars.

Some problems that might arise in the 13 colonies as more English settelers start to come to the Atlantic coast line could be starvation. It could be starvation because they were the first ones there and they had to figure out how to make food and crops also during that time many of the crops either dried out from too much sun and heat which caused droughts or from too much rain and caused the crops to flood. Also it could be starvation because when that happened the Indians and the English had to fight over the food and they could kill each other over the food. One colonist took his own wife's life by eating her and going to cannibalism. Another thing would be disease because a lot of colonist got sick from the water mix between fresh and salt water and after awhile they would die from drinking the water. Another reason why it could be disease is because when they had low and high tides it would not flush down all the way and all the waste in the river would stay there and they don't even know.

As more colonists enter the Atlantic coastline, there might be some over populated areas and there won't be enough resources and food. Also, the more people that come to the Spanish territory and French territory, the more fights will break out. Every person has a different opinion, and some of the other colonists might want to fight to gain land and power over America. Madeline Winters: Period 1

Some problems that might have occurred when more English colonist started to come up the Atlantic coastline is there might have not been enough jobs. They also might have ran out of room for people to live and started going into the Native Americans land witch might have caused a war between the two people. Also they might have not had enough food to feed all the new settlers.

Some problems the 13 colonies might have encountered was the fight for food and the fight for the land. I think this because back then when the people ran low on food they fought for it. Also some colonies might not have liked having other colonies on the land and could have tried to get rid of them through wars and such.

As more English colonist came to America the more problems raised. Such as the need for more food, with the increase of the colonist so should the increase of the food. The arrival of more colonists will also aggravate some of the indians. The more colonist the more indians get angry and they'll attack for their land

The problems I think that arose were conflict with other countries trying to settle too (Spain and France) and due to the fact the colonies were not too far away it wouldn't be hard to imagine a conflict. Also they settled near Indian settlements which were sometimes peaceful and willing to trade and help the English but otherwise they would try to exterminate them. Starvation would also occur if too many settlers came at once killing off a majority of a colony

One of the most important settlements of the 13 colonies was Jamestown. Jamestown was out to make money and they did by selling tobacco products. Jamestown was a very successful settlement. Also another settlement of the 13 colonies was Plymouth. The people of Plymouth wanted religious freedom so the colony was made up of mostly families, in contrast to Jamestown which was made up of only men.Plymouth was not a success, it ended up being a failure. If more settlers came to the existing 13 colonies they would have much arising trouble. This is because, with the settlers already there facing a hard time feeding everyone, more people would just increase that problem. There would be too many mouths to feed with such little food. Along with this tragedy would then bring great conflict with the Indians, or Native Americans, as the citizens in the 13 colonies would be trying to take food from them. When starving this would bring an "every man for them-self" sort of structure as they'll start to fight and kill for the food. Also, it depends who they bring over; if more gentleman come than farmers the farmers will have to work twice as hard to feed everyone, including themselves.

For living purposes, if more settlers settle along the coastline they might be cutting down the trees along the coast to build their houses. This would effect the English settlers greatly as if they take away the trees that would slow down erosion and soak in the water to grow then they might potentially be flooded. Depending if it's low tide or high tide if they have farms close to the coast they could completely be washed out and wasted.

I think many of the colonist would due from dises like. In James town and, I do belive there are other Indians there so they also might be hunted Down. From what I learned from James town is they need a hunter and gatherer or they will die from starvation ands they need less gentleman there because it seemed that they did not do anything back then. They will also need to save food for the winter because they will starve like in James town and many other places.Three things I think will come to starvation deases and Indians and lack of skills .

As more colonists come to America and settle along the Atlantic Coastline, I believe that there might not be enough space and the English colonist could force the Indians out of their homes even though the Native American lived there first which definitely could lead to problems like war. To get more space the English could also invade the Spanish and French territory. Not to mention, Britain will still want all the raw materials shipped over as well as more money and could enforce some unfair laws to get those items. Resources can come to a low the English colonist would need to find a way to make a living, so this could lead to fighting with the Indians, the Spanish, and the French. The border between the colonists and the French was not defined and this led to fighting to gain more space.

Problems that may happen is that too many colonists settle on the coastline. Since the soil isn't that great and there are many rocks, shelter may be limited and food may be limited. This can cause many deaths which isn't good for the colony. Also the people may want to take the indians food and fight thew indians for food. This can cause bad relations with the indians and can cause war with them.

Problems that would arise when the English start to settle along the coastline is the lack of freshwater. This could result in many people dying because of salt poisoning. There are also many Native American tribes around that area so they would have to deal with them too. On this part of America the winters could also be severely cold making it very hard to grow crops resulting in starvation.

problems that I think would occur because of more people coming is land. Land is a big issue because when they came they had to find land that wasn't taken. They might also fight over land. Another problem is there are Indians. This is a problem because they might take land, food source or a their water source and I'm sure the Indians wouldn't like that. Also food and water sources. If too many people come over and they don't have enough food or water people can starve and die.

As more colonist come to the US from England, many problems will arise. One of those problems will include the ownership of tobacco. Jamestown was the first to discover tobacco and they became successful and wealthy over it. Other colonist are going to want to be wealthy too, so they would do any means necessary to get their hands on some tobacco seed so they could start planting and earning money. This means they would fight and go to war for tobbacco. Another problem that will occur will be the ownership for land. On the Atlantic Coast, there is already a bunch of native American tribes and other English colonies occupying land. So as time goes on, the amount of free land will be scarce. So colonies will have to go to war and win a certain piece of land.

Some problems that may arise around the 13 colonies when more English settlers arrive are that they will need more food and where they would live. Since certain comes were very low on crops and animals to rely on for food, the more settlers that come, the more food they would need for all of them to survive. This means that the colonists that were already there will fight against the new settlers to get food. Living area would also me a major issue when more colonists came over because some colonies already had problems with the Native Americans to section off where they would settle so if more people came they would need more space to establish other homes and the Native Americans may not be willing to allow that.

The problems that may occur as more and more English colonists start to settle around the Atlantic Coastline are, the settlers might disagree on whose land is whose. Also, as the population builds up, the food supply will likely run low. Not enough food for everyone means everyone is fighting for themselves. As this happens, people who were late to find food might disagree with the fact that some people have food and they don't. This can lead to lots of violence when people are trying to survive.

Problems I think the colonists had were starvation, lack of water, and sent wrong people to America. I think this because the colonists didn't know how to plant crops. They didn't have too much water because they would have to go to the bathroom in the James River and if they drank out of the river, they would get sick and die. England sent the wrong people because there was only one doctor and he or she couldn't help everyone. Also, there were a lot of rich men who were no help at all.

Once the English kept coming and settling this really bothered the Indians and they felt threatened. These people were just coming into their homes pretty much and acting like they run the place. I would feel the same way If somebody intruded like that. And also, not only did they just come in and keep coming, they also pushed around the Indians and forced them into trades. Also, talking about coastline, this probably caused a lot of "traffic" or maybe fighting a long the coast for trading goods and shipping back to England.

Also as more people came, new water sources would need to be found and may result in war with the Native Americans.

The settlers wanted to do things their own way and this was not always popular with the British Government. Problems also arose when more English and French settlers came to America. In the 18th century it set off a war. The British government then raised taxes on the the colonists in order to pay for the war. The colonies were divided into separate areas. There was the New England colonies, the Middle Colonies and the Southern Colonies. Each had different ideas on religion, politics, economics, and social issues. It was hard to find food and water and keep disease from killing people. As more settlers came food and water would have become even harder to find.

Also, people would dump their trash into the water systems, the water would get polluted and people would get sick and some would die.

One main problem that may occur tremendously would be how the water that the colonists drink, will get even much dirtier then it was before. The colonists will drink that water and get sick easily. They will get very sick because many people use the drinking water as a restroom too. That water is very unsanitary and whoever drinks it is most likely to get sick and maybe even die. That is a major reason for deaths, because of the bad water. It would also be bad for more English colonists to come because there would most likely be many more attacks. It would be a lot easier for English colonists to start attacks since they have more people now. This would also result in many unnecessary deaths. Overall, it would be harder to survive if more English colonists came to the 13 colonies.

The first problem might be that not enough people will know how to farm, cook, heal, etc. If so, then there will only be practically useless raw materials that no one will know how to use. Another problem could be over-population. If there are too many colonists and not enough food, medicine, and homes, then many people will starve, go homeless, and die of injury or disease. Finally, people might not always agree on how the government is run. Some might think that the new, just way is ideal, while others, still wanting free land, will prefer having a king do everything with politics. Fighting within the colonies could definitely break out and cause major trouble.
