The Founding Fathers meant that all the the American people are one. We all help each other and we all care about each other. Americans never leave a man behind.
Amanda Flynn The founding fathers meant that this is for all of the people, these rights are not only for the rich, not only for the poor, not only for the middle class but for everyone. They wanted to Make sure that everyone knew that it represented everyone so that no one would think that it was unfair. They meant that all of the people of the United states have these rights, not other people, just the people of the U.S., but everyone in the U.S. has the rights listed in it.
In the U.S. Constitution it starts with the famous words: "We the people of the United States...". Our founding fathers said this because the U.S. Constitution is for the American people, to show that we are together, and one country following the same rules.
I think that the founding fathers meant everyone by the words "We the people of the United States..." Now the constitution applies to everyone. Everyone has rights in The United states. These rights are in the Bill of Rights. If the constitution wasn't meant for everyone then what would be the point of a constitution.
The founding fathers meant all the people,of course that didn't count slaves, all of us as equals not just king and his subjects. They meant everyone, they meant equality and not just peasants to a king. They meant people who were free to make their choices, and people who didn't want to get bossed around.
By this they meant the at we re no longer apart of England and are no longer going to follow your rules. You are no longer our king. We left England so we can be our own free country, our free country known to us as the United states. We are U.S. citizens. Period 1 Michaela Csvihinka
Manaia Friend 12/12/14 Period 3 When our founding fathers said, “We the people” they were referring to the fact that the things stated after that was coming from everyone. They all wanted the rights that were written in the document. In other words, it stood for all of them. All of the people. It represented them as a whole, and let the person reading it know that they were a group.
Sam Gertner Period 1 The Founding Fathers were saying that everyone is equal in the U.S. They wanted to say that everyone is part of forming the U.S. Government and everyone has a say in who represents and runs our country. They also wanted to say that the U.S. is a republic because when you say we the people, you are including every U.S. citizen and no person or group can run the country by themselves without the approval of the people.
When the Founding Fathers started our U.S. Constitution by saying," We the people of the United States..." They mean we are the people in the United States, and we live here. They mean everyone in the United States. Not just certain people. We the people means everyone. By saying this everyone gets treated equally because everyone that lives here is a part of the United States, and is equal.
What our founding fathers meant by the phrase 'we the people' is that we are a united nation and our people are all equal to the government. They wanted to include everyone in the constitution.
The starting words of the U.s. Constitution are, "We the people of the United States..." By writing this phrase, the Founding Fathers meant that this was an agreement within all U.S. citizens, not just the men who created the document.By saying this, it made it so that everyone agreed which the rules and laws stated in the document. Emma McCarthy Period 8
I think the Founding Fathers did this because it shows that we all have rights. I think that because the bill of rights states that we have freedom of speech and i feel that "we the people" proves it.
We the peopl means everyone in the world or the U.S. not just a few people everyone because your someone and they count you and that's why they call it We The People starting off.
The founding fathers mean that every decision made should be approved by the people because what makes up America are all of the people in it. Because of this, we should all get a say on the decisions that will impact us as the people.
The Founding Fathers' famous words "We the people of the United States" probably meant that every one in America, American citizens, or any one that lives in America, should be applied to this. Every one should help to build a perfect union, it's the responsabilaty of an American to at least help in some way in order to form a more perfect union.
The constitution starts out with the famous words: "We the people of the United States..." because the founding fathers wanted to address everyone. They were including everyone person and state in the constitution. They meant that we were a whole, and everyone was united. As well as being united, they may have been talking about former generations to come, so the power would be with them to.

As well as being united, they may have been talking about upcoming generations, so the power would be with them too. (Sorry about my last comment I realized I made an error in my answer.)
The phrase that the Founding Fathers used to start of the constitution was to emphasize that the government is us. We are the government as American citizens, we have the ability to make it work, and give power to it. It was created by the people for the people, so we have to be united to make it work. The Founding Fathers also knew that for generations our government’s power would be in the hands of the people unlike what happened with England, where only the king held all the sovereignty. P1 Michelle A.
The Founding Fathers meant that all the people gentry or poor all have the same rights under America and U.S Constitution. They meant that every person in the United States gives the rights of one man or woman to every man or woman under the U.S Constitution and that all the people are considered as equals to all the people of the United States of America.
Our founding fathers were talking about America’s people. It starts with the phrase “we the people” because we have the power to help America, add things to the constitution, and protect each other, and so on. The fate of our future and our country’s future is in our hands, and it’s our job to make it a good one. –Victoria Yencik Period 3

Our founding fathers meant everyone by we the people. I think it was not specified towards a certain group but everyone in the U.S. citizens or visitors, male or female. -Tyler V
What our Founding Fathers meant by, "We the people of the United States..." was that the citizens in the United States who are in favor of this new country. There is debate about wether, "We the people..." is aimed towards everyone one of all gender and race or just at the men of the new country. I believe, when it was written, it was coming from only the men of the constitution and aimed more towards them than anyone else.
When the founding fathers said, " We the people of the United States..." They meant all white land owners. I believe this because back then only a certain kind of people were treated as equals and that was the white land owner. I believe they included females also, even though they didn't have as many rights as the white male, they were still citizens of America. The reason I believe they did not include slaves is because they often compared them to cattle, they were not treated as citizens they were treated as property.
When the Founding Fathers started the Constitution with "We the people of the United States..." what they meant was that no matter what origin, gender, or age we are the people and we will unite. When I say we are the people I mean that every U.S. citizen has the same rights. The simplest way to say that the Constitution applied to everyone was that famous phrase "We the people". I think that the founding fathers meant by this phrase is that the people who came over from their original homes to America are the people. Our founding fathers meant that everyone outside of the nat. gov. would be included in the constitution no matter what type of person your are when they said "We the people".
The constitution starts out with "We the people of the United States..." because it shows that it is for everyone in the United States. If you are black or white you still have to fallow the constitution. The constitution is made for everyone in the U.S. It shows that everyone in the U.S are equal.

The Founding Fathers said, "We the people of the United States..." because they wanted to truly enforce that the people of the Untied States are together as one and everyone needs to protect themselves, and others. Also, it shows how the Founding gFathers truly want every person form the United States to b thankful and caring of others and know that they are one.
The founding fathers mean that we are the people and that all of the rights are for us "the people". And that all of the rights apply to us, the people, and that it has been written by the people. So it doesn't evolve only one person or group of people but all of the people in America.
